Accounting and Treasury
The payments and receipts of the campus are centralizaed in the treasury, except the payments of the Academic Unit and Health Services.
The Oeiras campus bases its costs and income on appropriations from the Central Bodies, on income generated by the campus itself and on funding from various entities allocated to projects.
The Administrative and Financial Management Area of the Oeiras Campus:
- Ensures compliance with public, budgetary and asset accounting standards for the education sector and ensures their application in close coordination with the IST Accounting, Budgetary and Assets Directorate;
- For the accounting of revenues and expenses, it adopts the criteria defined with the Accounting and Budgetary Direction;
- Promotes expenditure control by cost center.
Campus payments and receipts are centralized in the Treasury, with the exception of payments from the Student Office and Health Services.
